I was hoping for The Descendants to be a blend somewhere between About Schmidt and Sideways. I was excited for myself and my partner because we were going to have a cerebral as well as a funny emotional experience blown up on the big screen. Usually Payne mixes truth with pain and suffering in a comedic way.

The suckling sounds you hear from me are my release into, not out of, her servitude as my personal whore, and the profanations given in the development of our relationship. All of the creative work we do truly belongs together, and must be the ultimate collage I have intuitively always been looking for. Readers of fine poetry are rare, and it has been my hope to possibly reach another reader who can be trained to see the value in my poetry by first subjected to it through film.
